November Hospice and Palliative Care Event

We were fortunate this year to have a big turn out at the Clarion on November 9, 2009. We had Brenda Elsagher as our key note speaker; who is a cancer survivor and brought her story to us with integrity, compassion and intelligence. The ability to comprehend and integrate lifechanging experiences such as hers, and transform them into a living testimonial in the very best sense, is a gift indeed. Thank you to Hollister for donating the free books and supporting Brenda Elsagher and our Hospice and Palliative Care Program.
We all bene fited from this experience and feel lucky to have met such a wonderful person. Education hours were given to nurses. Her message of Work Hard – Smile Pretty will live with us for some time.
